It was a whirlwind getting here and making sure I get another blog post up. My husband and I experienced snow and black ice as we drove home to Wyoming from Nevada where we enjoyed seeing the family. It’s nice to be home where we have air to breath and space to live. Whew! City life is out of my blood and I don’t know if it pleases me or bothers me.
Nonetheless, Cooper is happy wherever he is, especially if he can run without a leash which means Wyoming. He’s back to chasing deer, squirrels and pestering his Dad to go feed the fish in the pond. “No Cooper, they’re hibernating for the winter.” Mysteriously he seems to understand and doesn’t ask any more…as in running to the pond and jumping on the feeder machine.
I’m slow in working on Raven Coulter, book three, but it is definitely in the works. I felt the need to promote Monumental Encounter and Raven Coulter book two this first quarter while still slowly working on book two.
I do like to read in between and my style is really stifled!
I’ve read four books in three weeks and it felt so GOOD! I really enjoy fun, simple mindless books, and I enjoy antique books. So far, I’m only reading the mindless and fun books. I’ve figured out the miscreants in two of the four and only one was a complete surprise because the character wasn’t even mentioned until he came on the scene at around the two thirds part of the book. That’s not fair!
The best and most awesome thing is…I’m in a winter time warp! Oh boy, does this time of year make me happy. I love sipping on spiced tea…my grandmother’s recipe we drank as children. And snuggling in my favorite big writing and reading chair with my favorite fur blanket and Cooper at my feet. It’s his snooze time apparently. He keeps my feet warm and me weighted down. It’s all what makes me enjoy winter here in Wyoming.
We live on a creek called the Big Goose. It’s beautiful on a sunny day to take a walk along the creek. The water flows under the ice and on occasion where the ice hasn’t frozen over you can see the beautiful water running cold and clear. The frost on the snow glistens like diamonds everywhere, I feel like breaking out in song and singing “Hi ho, Hi ho, it’s off to work we go…
Which is exactly what I must do. I’m getting back to work and writing an awesome book three for Raven Coulter. Any suggestions what you would like to see in the book? I want you, my readers, happiest!
God Bless You!
