I feel like I’m panning for gold writing my first blog for this new website. I have so many things I want to say, but I must pick out the good nuggets and get rid of the junk that is for another time, not really interesting, applicable or necessary for what I want to say.
I am currently working on the book cover, editing, and beginning stages of promotion for my new book just recently finished. It’s an action book! Yes!! I love action, so I inserted an action book in between the Raven Coulter series, which is coming closer and closer. Yes! You will be kept informed along the path for book two of the Raven Coulter series. Thank you for your support and interest in the first, Raven Coulter — Changed Lives book.
This particular action book, “Monumental Encounter,” has been four years in the making, and I felt this last winter it was time to write, rewrite where necessary and get it finished. Bring it out into the sun and get my stamp of approval on my first action book.It was so much fun (and stress) to make it creative and captivating.
My husband and special friends who read the first through fifth drafts, all thought it was great, and even added a few aha’s with the twists and turns included. Those were jubilant moments for my first foray into action books.
Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love our military and Special Forces, so no one was surprised I did it. Thank you all for your support and exciting feedback. For the rest of you yet to read it…I’m the one who is excited now.
Words are our friends as writers. I’ve seem to always have a whole lot to say about everything, but condensing it all into something articulate and insightful is a challenge. I’m always up for a good challenge. Flowers are next on my list this spring! I found my new relaxing hobby when I need a break from writing and thinking about writing. Anyone else have advice for me on flowers, bring it forth.
I will need a lot of reviews posted to help boost my books, so I’m asking for your help with the Raven Coulter series and the upcoming Monumental Encounter. For some reason those pesky reviews are so needed–they’re golden…speaking of panning for gold!
